A lot of people think that looking successful is important for business. They spend lots of money on expensive clothes, cars, jewelry, etc. This is so 1980’s thinking!
Extravagance is not admirable. Using your wealth and power to help less fortunate people is. That is how you demonstrate success, if you want to show it.
Looking “professional” is another outdated idea… from the 1980’s! Wearing a suit is what lawyers, politicians, used car dealers, corporate criminals, mobsters, and other unethical people do to make you think they are credible, trustworthy, professional, etc. How can any person with a brain fall for such superficial silliness? Do you want to look like these people?
Professionalism is not how you look, is how you behave. It is saying what you mean, doing what you say and getting the job done! Therefore, you cannot tell someone is professional by looking at them and how you dress is not what makes you professional! Are these people below not professional because they are not wearing suits?
Not only are they professional, they are very successful too! They are unconventional leaders who have achieved much due to their inability to blindly believe the silly things that everyone else does.
